This route covers the scenic Kaghan Valley stretch leading up to Naran town, a popular gateway for travelers heading toward Babusar Top and onward into Gilgit-Baltistan. The valley is known for lush green meadows, Lake Saif-ul-Malook (a short drive/hike from Naran), and dense pine forests along the way. This route is seasonal, generally accessible from April/May through October, with the upper sections becoming difficult or impassable in heavy snow. It sees heavy tourist traffic in summer, particularly on weekends, which can add congestion-related delays separate from weather or landslide issues.
