Astore Valley road

This route branches off from the Gilgit-Skardu road at Jaglot and heads into Astore Valley, continuing on to Rama Meadows with its close-up views of Nanga Parbat. The drive from Jaglot to Astore town takes roughly 2-3 hours, with a further short drive or hike to reach Rama. The road is narrower and less developed than the main KKH or Gilgit-Skardu routes, with jeep tracks required for the final approach to Rama Meadows. It's generally accessible from late spring through autumn, with winter snow restricting access to higher points.
