The Astore Valley Road (AVR) has been partially restored at Khachak following a road restoration and clearance operation, according to the Gilgit-Baltistan Police.

Traffic will remain suspended throughout the night of 27 July due to the continued risk of landslides and poor visibility. Authorities say the decision has been taken to ensure the safety of commuters, tourists, and transport operators using the route.
